Re: the other Amtrak train in the news

The Talgo train was a Northbound Cascades Talgo that derailed the locomotive at slow speed, just after leaving Tukwila, WA. station enroute to Seattle. From the TV footage it looks like it picked the switch at Black River Jct., site of on - going trackwork for a 3rd main track.
