Yes, too funny! Been noticing over the past couple of years that not only is traffic on north Idaho roads increasing, but the number of people who by nature drive 10-20 mph over the posted speed limit (even where it's already posted 70 mph) is getting way out of hand. And we know where most of them are coming from. Anyway, the X-ing where this went down is marked by a crossbuck AND stop signs, and just a couple hundred feet away is another X-ing with flashers. So Roger's blasting music scenario may have played a factor. I've seen dozens of people approach these X-ings along the UP and blow right through them, stops signs or not, without even glancing to either side to see if something's coming. I remember reading something back in the 80s about UP posting signs on its remote X-ings out in the middle of the Mojave Desert that said something to the effect of, "Trains operate over this crossing at 70 mph, whether you're on it or not."
