And Illegal fireworks, 40 years ago we could shoot off anything we liked and we were safe and took all precautions, but one idiot blows his arm off or burns down an entire neighborhood and they are all banned for everyone (except the kids in my neighborhood and their parents are exempt and can shoot them off 24/7 365 for decades and the lazy cops never show up when called)
