Just a few details. The O line didn't exist yet in '32, and the G & I lines were temporary routes to access the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition.

Also, These were just the Muni lines. The Market Street Railway had lines everywhere, but they did not have the tunnels or private ROW's of the Muni streetcar lines that survived. Many of the current Muni bus lines have numbers that correspond to their MSRy predecessor lines. For instance, Muni's 22 bus nearly duplicates MSRy's 22 car line that once ran between the Marina and Dogpatch.
