I hope it doesn't happen. The environment there will be very rough on all that iron.
The community will not be psyched on more rail operations. It seems they could care less about tourist dollars and care more about peace and quiet and less traffic. Don't get me wrong I love the 2472 with all my heart, but in this day and age of dwindling interest and support of rail preservation museum operations, I think consolidations and new operations outside of a heavily populated area is a wiser move.
