Hi Everyone,
I was part of the May 24-26 Domes Over Donner excursion which included a visit to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum. The story is now posted on the front page of >link>
TrainWeb.com<link<. Even with rainy weather it was a wonderful trip. Kudos to Trains Unlimited, Tours (TUT) and California Zephyr Railcar Charters. You should try one of these type of trips at least once to experience their first class service on beautifully maintained original CA Zephyr cars.
The Western Pacific Railroad Museum is well worth the visit. We only had 3 hours there, but you could easily spend all day visiting their vast collection.
