Very pretty, but more than a pipe dream? No. The guy behind it is a custom home builder in Woodside, not a governmental agency or even a major engineering firm like Bechtel or Parsons. The low speed operation seems superfluous. He's using the old Southern Crossing bridge route and extending I-380 across the bay, which was proposed and abandoned long ago, which also seems unneeded . And he's using the most direct route to Stockton, ignoring the hills (tunnels?)and cutting straight through farmland (albeit on pylons above the farms, but still, look at the problems CHSR has had with farmers).
