Blue Cut Fire Possible Arson

At 10Am today, the San Bernardino Sheriff announced the arrest of a 61 year old 'registered arsonist', who was out on parole, in a parked car very close to the UP main near Blue Cut. The individual was first detained by a UP Special Agent, who called in the SB Sheriff. A vehicle search revealed 5 gallon filled gasoline container, butane torches, several cigarette lighters, and lighter fluid. He was 10 feet away from a large unburned area where the Blue Cut fire had not burned.
