As one who's never seen it, I think its a smashing picture! Full of the forties, nice old cars, people dressed normally and no fat guys! Also I never realised there were pit stops for locomotives en route but a tanker in the right place does the trick. Wonder how many tanker fires there were back then? Real trains with an atmosphere long gone!
