Terrible
The depot had been on SP's original line to Long Beach that came in from the main line to the harbor on a NW to SE alignment. That line, along with the old LAT/SPLA&SL/UP line was pretty much abandoned after PE took hold.
THe depot was a gem in the spanish mission style popular around 1900-ish.
THere is a draftsman with a French name who drew up the depot at Soldiers Home and I heard he was going to/was doing a similar project for this depot. I surely hope he obtained his basic pix and dimensions before the catastrophe. David Coscia of the SPH&TS should know
