Current operating plan has train actually starting out in Portland, running north to Seattle and then east. Planners are worried about delays in the Portland-Pasco-Spokane
corridor. If the train gets heavy, they might be forced to add a Portland Spokane section in the future, or DPU the train over the pass. (BTW--some worry about the Portland-Seattle
conjestion issues causing delays.) Powder River Basin has lost enough traffic that no delay issues are expected there. As usual, MRL will be counted on to make up for any lost time, just like was done in the past. Likely to be an Evaro Hill train.
