Natural gas is a byproduct when fracking rock to get oil. If some use is not found for this extra natural gas, it will have to be burned at the wells to get rid of it.

"All in all depending on natural gas for the hydrogen supply chain in the future in not a good idea" is nonsense when the alternative is burning it in the air at the wells.
