New state starting at the summit of the Rockies to summit of Cascades, include the neglected western Montana, north Idaho (money doesn't flow uphill from Boise much either) and eastern Washington, include northeastern Oregon and let southern Idaho have southeastern Oregon. Would make a decent state. I keep hearing the noise about western Washington subsidising eastern Washington but never had it proven to me! I'd take Rosi's proposals over the current administration's that makes lots of promisses, but "it just didn't work out this time, maybe next session." When we do get something it's usually a park, bike trail, or millions to renovate a theatre that will never be able to cover it's costs (Fox theatre Spokane, yeah it really looks nice, neat, but for the millions spent, millions needed to run it and keep it running, it's like getting ice cream but no dinner.) Maybe if Washington wasn't taxed and regulated to death, we would have more businesses and more private donations for such things.
OOPS, our current gov. says it's our jobs as taxpayers to support such things. (Think she said it on her way to board a chopper to fly to the state's current disaster to get her picture taken being concerned and making promises to help. I've never seen anyone seen anyone such a media hog at disasters as her, and all the resources that have to be taken away from the crisis at hand to show her around and keep her from getting hurt. Lady, let the firemen put the fire out and the sand baggers toss sandbags to prevent the flood, get out of the damn way!
