UP Passenger Special into Spokane

UP ran an 18 car northbound passenger special into Spokane late morning on Tuesday. There appeared to be about 15-20 people on board. They stopped at the usual crew change point opposite Felts Field and the passengers got on a small bus and headed off somewhere.
It sounded like they were going to run it to Coeur d'Alene Junction and wye the train then bring it back south into the siding at Trentwood. Future moves unknown to me.
One unusual move was that there was a BNSF westbound stopped at Lakeside Jct which was blocking UP Jct so the UP train couldn't get onto the BNSF trackage rights through Spokane. The dispatchers had the BNSF train pull west past Lakeside Jct, let the UP train out and then the BNSF train backed up to clear Lakeside Jct again. The dispatcher said the BNSF train had to wait for 5 eastbounds and he didn't have any sidings to put it in.
