The SP&S Special along with the 4449 trip over
MRL used equipment from the now deceased
Montana by Daylight excursion train which
ran regularly from Sandpoint to Livingston
back in the day.

So yes MRL has been approachable on
special movements. And this is the second
time as I recall the AARPCO train came
through. There's also an investor/PV owner
who spends a couple weeks on MRL stopping
at their favorite fishing holes during
the peak trout fishing season.
