I used to travel there each year to service a radio tower at Mica Peak.
First trip I had to stop by an office at N.515 Havana Street.
That was before internet maps so I rented a car and set out with the fold-out AAA map.
Ended up in a farmers field near what was supposed to be N. 515 Havana.
I had arrived at S.515 Havana Street. Doh!!

That day I learned Spokane is laid out on a grid with Sprague and Division as the
X-Y axis. Streets numbering both north and south.
I laugh at myself for poor navigation.

This all before I became a railfan.
Next trip I will find the railyard for train spotting.
