Lewis County backed out of their offer.

"A 35 mile stretch of rail running from Rainier to Chehalis was sold on Oct. 4 to an LLC associated with Western Washington Railroad, said Dale King, superintendent for Tacoma Rail."

Likely sold to a new division of Frontier Rail who is a partner in WWR. I would guess WWR will continue to operate the line for the immediate future. WWR didn't have use of the shop at Western Jct, so maybe Frontier Rail will make use of that for work on their engine fleet?
