The picture showing the train next to the old yard office. It was the one next to the road and was where they kept passenger equipment for years. It was used as a runaround for passenger trains. There was a switch at the end of it and a tail track that held 2 to 3 units. The Redwood would pull in, cut off, run around their train and take the power to the house. Next day, they would couple up with an engine headed towards San Rafael and head north.
