Awwww....thanks, John. I understand. Yeah -- for
those who love Alco diesels -- who doesn't? --
now I see why it is kinda sad, but -- as you know --
the riders don't care what is pulling their train.
I do agree that the Alcos do deserve their "day in the
sun" as rare creatures.

So the GE center-cab really was "the little engine that
could". They probably got the Geep because it nas nore
power -- I dunno. Nor do I have any idea why they did
not choose to use the RS-11.

(I had heard that the fuel conversion to CNG has not
gone well, as far as their performance goes. They like
and need diesel, not CNG -- from what I heard. Glad
they converted the one back to diesel.)
