Interesting article in the Calaveras Enterprise from 2005 regarding the demise of the cement plant and and it's history. Cement for the Bay Bridge, Pardee Dam, Mather and McClellen, Bay Area shopping malls, Friant Dam and most recently the Bridge over the Stanislaw River on 49, all came from Kentucky House.
