You know, I have a copy of a Union newsletter from 100 years ago which says the same thing about the implementation of the US HOS act (with a lot of cartoons which are most un-PC in this day and age). When HOS was changed from 16 to 14 to 12 right after I hired out, a lot of the old heads were griping about how it would cause them to lose earnings (it never really happened).

It's a broken record.
