Young Shuster might be a better choice, if he's even half his father's son, and could be a good barometer at DOT of an attempt to look at an infrastructure program for transportation based on a strong broad consensus, local commitments, and sound policy checks. I think that with that sort of leadership, that real public private partnerships and other innovative investment mechanisms could be part of such an infrastructure program and create new options to fund and build transportation improvements.

It's been my experience, that Mica's style would be more likely to assure an infrastructure "policy" that guarantee's a new off-ramp for every developer and casino who has donated the proper amount........or a bridge or two to nowhere for a few close friends on the committee....
