OK, did some perusing of the
SMART web site (not one of the easier places to find info) and some general searching. Couple of updates:
Letter in October (PDF) describes most of the issues affecting startup - now "late spring" 2017.
Still not clear whether the Larkspur extension is fully funded, but there appears to be enough to get started even if a few more dollars are needed. Federal and State environmental work appears to be done.
Nothing, really, about extending to South Marin. The original plan did have a loop into the ferry terminal, but that's not in one of the current construction phases according to the maps and environmental documents.
So should I be planning a trip over there next summer to ride the new trains?
