Cal Western #45 and tunnel 1

Easter 2016 I rode the Skunk from Willits to North Spur, train and open car very nice trip. I talked to the conductor and asked about the status of Tunnel 1 and steam. I was told the 45 was going through its 15 year inspection and would be back in service in 2017. I was also told tunnel 1 would reopen at the same time with steam power out of Fort Bragg as in year past. Does anyone have an update on how these two projects are nearing to completion? Hoping to ride steam out of Fort Bragg this year.
