1) How often do TV stations broadcast any quality programs about rail subjects? That in itself is notable.

Speaking for myself...

4) Since I'm an American History enthusiast I've watched just about every one of the American Experience shows. They are my favorite TV shows;

5) As someone worked on planning a subway line, this kind of program naturally appeals to me;

6) I've visited Boston several times and rode its mass transit system, including what would have been the original Boston subway. Of course its history will be of interest to me.
