NCRA - SMART Deal for Railcar Parking :: Please Support

NCRA reached a deal with SMART requiring it to recognize NCRA's right to store LPG cars on a temporary basis. The deal stabilizes NWPCo freight service and it has been reported that Farhad (SMART GM) is opposing it.

Anyone willing to attend SMART's meeting on Wednesday? If so, a word of support for the agreement would do the freight entity a lot of good.

As readers of this forum know, LPG cars are stored all over the Bay Area in close proximity to commercial establishments and highways. You see them along Highway 580 in close proximity to the travelling public, and residences. Farhad has overreached and the Board needs to endorse the proposed agreement.
