The rebuilt 207 will lead the consist east out of Emigrant Gap early in the AM Saturday. The reason for the call is to cut the bank on the #2 track from MP 182 between Cisco and Troy to just west of Soda Springs. The bank is over 120" high in some places and needs to be cut back by the wide wing on the rotary. This will also be a good test for the 207 as UP wants to rebuild a second rotary but is not ready to invest another million until this first rebuild is proven. There will be no spreader feeding snow over since it was cleaned up after the last storm earlier this week. The 209 will get a little work cutting the bank on the #1 track from Tunnel 41 to just east of Soda Springs. After that is completed the consist will head back to Roseville. This should be able to be done on Saturday baring any complications. The weather will throw a few flakes of snow at them during the day. No traffic jam at Hwy. 20 since they will just be running lite through there. Hopefully all will be on their best behavior. The UP PO will be out watching for idiots who do stupid things and hopefully they will get cited.
