Parsons Brinckerhoff has absolutely no relation now nor ever had in the past with Parsons. The two are not just different companies altogether but also with entirely different founders.

Parsons Brinckerhoff, or colloquially known as PB, was founded by William Barclay Parsons and Henry Brinckerhoff in New York, NY in 1885.

Parsons Transportation Group, or just colloquially known as Parsons or PTG, was founded by Ralph Parsons in 1944 (almost 60 years after PB) in Pasadena, CA.

Before equating the two companies as the same and going off on a rant, it would have been prudent if you had done the research and got your facts right. That's correct; even in the days of "fake news" there's something called "facts".
