No, sir, while I stand by my apology if I sounded "rude" I would like a response as to why there was the blanket claim driving in Oregon is dangerous? What is special about Oregon that makes it so dangerous compared to perhaps California.

I don't know why she made her long post anyway - the original post was simply a question about riding Amtrak to Albany, a very reasonable question. In fact I have friends riding #14 up arriving on Thursday just so they can be here for the Friday activities. Margaret decided to open the door about how "dangerous" it is to drive up here and then continued by rehashing the move of Winterail itself.

As a note, I was just in the Bay Area 3 weeks ago and I saw stupid stuff drivers were doing down there that I don't see anywhere up here. Yes, I feel much safer driving up here than down there and would just like to know why driving in Oregon is so dangerous.
