The pooly informed and paranoid of Novato have somehow convinced themselves that there will be something like six or eight freight trains every day and night. Of course most of these poor misinformed bozos must be recent arrivals in Novato, not taking into consideration that freight trains ran through our precious village for countless years. When one buys a house near a railroad track one should give thought to the fact that somebody might actually use it for its intended purpose. However this whining seems to fit in with the hypocracy that Marin County "greens" seem to espouse, namely "you go green and leave me alone".
Perhaps they have a closeted desire for yet more trucks on the already belabored U.S. 101.
