Goldman Sachs' are looking at any possible deal that will turn a buck. The Port of Coos Bay has lined up the money to buy the entire Coos Bay Branch, 12 Million Dollars in State and Federal money that has come thru their doors and a 12.5 Million line of credit. Not bad, I have also heard that Goldman Sachs has talked with the Port of Coos Bay. If they get a letter of intent for a cargo container businbess they are right there to help. Goldman Sachs gets the rights and will promote their port, they contract out with a local operator to run the trains and the Port gets a lot of bucks to restore their port business.
