That's probably going to depress the market value for old model & toy trains for a while. Almost as bad as a big hobby shop going out of business ... oops, that's happened several times recently too, and in effect this is one more even though it's delayed from the shop's closure date in the 1990s.

Need to go through my drawers (only a few) of old trains. Perhaps some have value, though after something like this perhaps not much. Since most of my "playing with trains" is in the computer now it might be time for a bit of liquidation while they still have *some* value...before the other oldefart (my age and up) collectors start dying in numbers too.
