There are a few active industrial leads in Escalon. The tracks are inactive south of around Jones Road. They have been paved over at River Road, and have been completely severed by the widening of Highway 219 in Stanislaus County. South of SR 219, Modesto has converted the old ROW to a bike path, as Manteca did to the Manteca branch about 15 years ago.
