The BNSF line would not benefit from any improvements save getting rid of all the crossings along
Grand, the line except for local conditions would easily hold 60 mph freight as it exists. There
isn't much median space on I-10 or the 202 and the better route would be an update of the ex-SP
West Line. That would serve everything from Buckeye through Leveen all the way into Phoenix.
