Caltrans has six Chargers on the property in Oakland.

The first of the 6 Chargers could be placed into revenue service late next week.

All Caltrans Chargers will be required to run as a trailing unit (F59 or P42 leading) until the Amtrak WiTronix equipment is fully operational. I would not look for a Charger leading a Caltrans train until mid to late summer.
