Recently, Tacoma Rail finished a significant reconfiguration of it's main yard. Millions of dollars invested. This work included the West end, East end and a little bit of work out at Alexander (far east).
Working with Tacoma Rail, I had a time lapse camera installed on a light pole to record the west end work.
The video below covers March and April 2017. While the most significant work is in the background, there is a lot of work in the foreground and a lot of trains. Notable here is the two new diamonds and the new route across Milwaukee Ave.
Two versions.
This one is shorter and faster. The Bumblebee version!
This one is longer and slower. Same images as above.
