PETA, like all the "green" groups, are going so far to the left politically its pathetic. It's the radicals in each of these groups that power the agenda. Many members now are anti-capitalist and the word COMPROMISE is not in their vocabulary. That's the problem. They go crazy when they don't get their way.

Now to be fair PETA does do good work in some instances, usually at the local level, especially in animal abuse cases. But at the national level they have gone overboard...but you have to remember they, like any "green" group, need to keep their name in the news to spur donations.

My .02 cents is that their president Ingrid Newkirk is not the level headed person she used to be. She's allowing PETA to be pushed into being a quasi radical organization probably because the donors now donating money to PETA are demanding it.
