Sound Transit Tacoma Bridge/Trestle

The Sound Transit bridge that has replaced the old Milwaukee S Curve Trestle, is making good progress. Currently the steel bridge over G street is being completed and about 3/4 of the abutments (or bents) are either completed or started. Won't be long now before the double track structure is complete.

Here's an "aerial" view of the project.
Sound Transit Bridge Construction Progress

Is it a bridge? Is it a trestle? How about a viaduct? Are the structures that hold up the spans called abutments, bents or piers? In my conversations with the engineers building it and Sound Transit managers, I've heard all of them used. FlatIron contractors call a bridge with abutments. Sound Transit says its a trestle with bents. Another contractor says its more of a viaduct. I'm sure there's an opinion or two here!
