Future of Amtrak Cascades F59PHI fleet

An Amtrak source tells me discussions are ongoing about reassignment of the Cascades F59PHI's once the Siemens Chargers are placed into service.

Sending them to Los Angeles is apparently the plan. From there, use in Surfliner service is likely...465 used to be in Surfliner colors anyway. They wouldn't need all 6 units for Surfliner service, so one scenario has them being used on 11/14 paired with a P42DC.

Anybody know for sure?
