The rails have been in place on the west side for a long time, they once served a lumberyard at that place just to the west. They rails were buried in dirt and weeds since the mid-to-late 1990's. It appears that someone, the GGRM most likely, has cleaned up the tracks to make running over them possible. Progress indeed.
