I am still guessing August for revenue ops. They don't want to start in the rainy season. California weather is hopelessly quantum but to me there are some hints it may be another rainy year coming up and starting early.

Some months ago I chatted for a minute or so with a with a SMART employee-flagman near the Petaluma station and I suggested August and he nodded right away.

The really amazing phenomenon here IMHO is that there have been no wrecks. Considering Northbay drivers are getting crazier and more aggressive by the day. Hardly anybody stops at stop signs and going thru lights that have turned red all the time. I think it is the loud horns and the crossing gates don't stay down for long responsible for no crossing incidents. Take away the horns and have the gates down longer and we'll see what transpires.

As far as actual loadings the gypsy only knows.
