The really sad thing is, most of the import containers brought in through Seattle / Tacoma are not scanned when they are off - loaded from the ship. It seems the Steamship Lines prefer to use us dray haulers to slowly roll the can through the Radiation - sniffing " Goalposts " at the out - gate, which may occur several days after the can is on - docked. Of the seven port terminals I frequent, only WUT in Tacoma has the cans scanned immediately upon arriving " on - dock ". Maybe that's why my teeth are always hurting ???
