Former Cerritos Mayor Bruce only wanted Maglev, evil LRT must be stopped at all costs. This City has had some issues with leadership and not wanting to play with the other cities. Bellflower, Paramount, and Artesia see LRT it differently, especially downtown Bellflower, where they see what has been done in place like Arcadia and Monrovia in terms of potential revitalization of the historic "downtown" and in-fill condo development around the stations,

OC segment vetoed about l6 years ago by several OC City Councils on the line that, at that time, averaged about 83 years old. OC southern end "trolley" seems in a "do-loop" on again, off again.......but, I am not up to date on the currents status "this week".

The UP-WSAB LRT corridor performed at 2nd highest passengers per dollar spent than any other LRT line in the recently adopted sales tax, only second to the connection from the Crenshaw line at the Expo Line up to connect to the Purple Line HRT subway extension. They could even "share" the PE "four track" Blue Line segment from Slauson north and save about a billion on skyways through the industrial corridor and make it more competitive.
