Non-partisan is completely vindicated, Mook is shown to be irrelevant

This news about changing trip to train vindicates my raising the issue for debate and suggests that Mook is out of touch with the things that really matter to commuters. Not to kick this thing in the head now that it's down, but imagine this conversation that would have been possible under Mook/SMART's trip nomenclature:

Mook: I'll be riding the SMART down to catch the ferry and I'll meet you at the ballpark.
BOB2: What train are taking?
Mook: You mean trip?
BOB2: Sure, trip.
Mook: 8.
Bob2: Ok. How long will the trip be?
Mook: Which?
Bob2: The train.
Mook: What train?
Bob2: The one you're taking to the ferry, dummy!
Mook You mean trip?
Bob2: Forget that. How long will the trip be. When will you get here.
Mook: You mean the train?
Bob2: Not anymore. Now I mean the whole trip.
Mook: Oh I see! Well the trip is one hour, then I transfer to the ferry, which will take 25 minutes, then the ferry is a half hour, then I transfer to the MUNI which drops me off right in front of the ballpark. So the trip will take about an hour.
Bob2: How did you add all that up to get an hour, you nitwith?
Mook: The trip will take an hour. Then I transfer to the ferry. You are trying to use the term trip to cover a whole journey. I'm not about that. Trips are train rides in my book. You are the nitwit.
Bob2: Oh yeah?
Mook: Yeah. Get a life you idiot. No one cares about your obnoxious bloviating and arrogant posts about trains. You aren't important and everyone hates you!
Bob2: All right fine. Well I'm going to cancel my trip!
Mook: Wait, what trip?

Etc. It could have gotten really confusing.
