Note that ONLY the train and Amtrak unit will be wed at Prineville. In other words, NOT 4449 and her auxiliary tender. Upon arriving at the wye in Prineville, 4449 & aux tank will be cut off, and the Amtrak diesel will pull the entire train through the wye. Once the rear car of the train (Silver Solarium), is backed out on the main line, 4449 will couple onto it, complete an air test, the continue on to Bend. There is NO speed restriction.
