Warner Bros. backlot, or where?

In a few of the 1970's Kung Fu TV episodes, you see some old train equipment. Below is an example.

I am guessing this must have been at the Warner Brothers backlot in Burbank? Does the location look familiar to anyone?

A dead steam locomotive also shows up in a few episodes. One of them is a dead 4-4-0. That had to be a Virginia & Truckee engine.

But now I am confused! If the V&T engine was owned by Paramount as people say, then could it be on Warner Bros. property? I don't know the TV business, so your help is needed.
