Given the unabated and unopposed extremism now extant in the great post modern State of California, that might seem true enough. However, a few usually ignored and very inconvenient realities are likely to get in the way.
As Train's Magazine's John C. Kneeling used to say at the end of many a column, "sooner or later they WILL run out of willing taxpayers". That is already happening, considering that the wealth drain and brain drain from California continues unabated. Indeed, Mr. Kneeling's prediction was probably an understatement.
He should have said "they will sooner or later run out of any kind of taxpayer at all - willing or otherwise. How long will it be before California crosses beyond the point of no return? Or has it already!
As the the state itself follows Puerto Rico into insolvency; never mind the NCRA, a lot more is in jeopardy than that.
Too Bad - it was once a good place to live.
