The first electronic device I ever designed (for money) was an amplifier that let Road and Yard be heard at the same time with a monitor that only allowed you to hear one. I installed it in the West Oakland Tower over a half-century ago. How time flies.

It wasn't very efficient, but it worked and could be built from Motran spare parts.
