My friend is on a BNSF natural emergency contingency team. In addition to this possibility, they have extensive plans for a major California earthquake, nuclear war, even an alien invasion.

I do not know the exact plans for the volcano, but I heard they have over 2,000,000 shop vacs with extended pickup hoses stored at strategic locations so conductors can vacuum the ROW of ash from the front platforms of locomotives.
