The google image shows a high nose BN painted locomotive at west end of Adams Steel yard though I don't know the vintage of imagery though it is certainly much more recent than linked photo. Location is at 33.848977, -117.845215. Also visible from 91 freeway is the other BN loco (described in photo caption) at east end of yard. Interesting note that on google what appears to be Amber Trail, now Pacific Trail PV. I believe it is now elsewhere in Los Angeles being used for public and private charters by LARail. 2 other old heavyweight pax cars are also visible. They used to be on an orphan spur in Orange east of Glassell Street north of Bristol until several years ago. At the time, Conductor Bill told me they would be scrapped at Adams. I do not know if that has happened.
